BlackFlare mobile data center on a well site at night

Reference scenarios

Development scenarios that show where the platform is intended to fit. These are not completed commercial deployments.

Field gas to compute

Remote site, stranded fuel

A remote energy site has gas available but poor gathering economics or insufficient grid infrastructure. Onsite generation converts the fuel into electricity, a modular compute block consumes it near the source, and remote operations supervise the site.

Development scenario
Power-constrained AI

Land and demand, no interconnect

A location has land and demand for AI infrastructure but faces long utility-interconnection timelines. Onsite generation allows some compute capacity to be developed independently of the full future utility buildout.

Development scenario
Relocatable compute

Domestic compute without permanent construction

A workload requires domestic compute but does not require a permanent building. Modular power and compute equipment is installed, operated, disconnected, relocated, and recommissioned as the mission or energy source changes.

Development scenario
Government and industrial

Analytics where data centers do not exist

A mission requires substantial local compute where conventional data-center infrastructure is unavailable or impractical. Modular onsite infrastructure provides a path to local processing.
