Gas is often stranded because gathering infrastructure is unavailable, pipeline distance makes transport uneconomic, volumes are small, or composition varies. BlackFlare investigates whether that energy can be converted into computation locally: local resource, onsite generation, electrical infrastructure, modular compute, remote monitoring.

Engineering is focused on holding stable power for IT loads from fuel whose quality and composition change. This remains active development, not a solved claim.

Fuel consumed, energy produced, operating hours, efficiency, and emissions are recorded so site performance can be evaluated against its baseline.
